Ignite Sports Inks Deal with Motorsports’ Next Superstar Talent
January 26, 2009

Cornelius, NC (January, 15 2008) – Ignite Sports, LLC and Wilson Motorsports are proud to announce a new partnership focused on the development and continued success both on and off the track of motor sports newest prodigy, Kyle Wilson.  Wilson, a third-generation racer who will turn 16 in March, is currently competing in the PASCAR Pro Challenge Series as well as the NASCAR Whelen Super Truck Series.  Racing since age 8, Wilson has racked up an impressive 74 wins and 114 top-five finishes during his career and currently sits 3rd on the all-time USAC Quarter Midget win list.  Earning the title of 2008 “Rookie of the Year” as well as finishing 2nd in the national Pro Challenge standings, Wilson has shown early talent reminiscent of the greats currently racing in NASCAR’s top touring series, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

With the goal of moving up to NASCAR’s Camping World Truck and Nationwide Series in 2011, as well as preparing to make his ARCA RE/MAX Series debut during the upcoming 2009 season, Wilson, native of Cornelius, NC, is following in the footsteps of other NASCAR superstar talents such as Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman and Tony Stewart.

“Talent and understanding like Kyle’s is quite impressive and unique at his age,” said Marc Williams, President and Founder of Ignite Sports, LLC.  “He is most definitely one of the finest talents I’ve seen in a number of years.

“Kyle has a tremendous knowledge of the sport and what it takes to be successful.  He understands the mechanics and the sponsor’s need to meet objectives and we can attribute that to a great upbringing and education by his family,” Williams continues.

“We’ve already had some very productive, very positive conversations with prospective corporate partners and teams and are looking forward to having more talks with brands and organizations that are interested in partnering with a talent like Kyle.”
